All of a sudden the world is taking notice of the plight of minorities in the most populated nation in the world. Funny how for years nobody cared, but now that China has investments in Africa, owns the US debt and has modernized its army...the western media is acting as if it really cares about the plight of the oppressed in China.
Is it really just an all out attack on a country that is trying to be friendly to the world, changing from a staunch communist state to a emerging capitalist society?
Instead of criticizing, the west should embrace and steer this massive swing, and encourage it in a positive way.
